In the UK, over 150 people a day are diagnosed with breast cancer.
As a group of people that have been affected directly or indirectly by breast cancer, we wanted to take action and Challenge 150 was born. Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of self-examination, to raise funds for cancer charities and to support them by volunteering our time. Visit this page for information about our activities and find out how you can get involved.
There's more to checking your boobs than a quick look in the mirror. Our friends at Coppafeel have some great advice on how to check and what to do if you find something that doesn't feel right.

The fantastic Tim Martin is doing 150 laps of the lake next to our Bristol office to run laps around cancer! It will take about 12 hours, and total 75km! This herculean feat will take place on 30th of September, so show him your support and donate! More details to come on this one.
Our amazing colleague Tom Bailey is pushing himself to the limit to raise money for Star throwers by doing multiple amazing events; the London Marathon on 27th of April, Suffolk Sunrise Cycle Ride on the 18th of May and the Boudicca Way UltraMarathon on the 19th of July. That’s 159 miles in total! Go and support him via his Just Giving page.
Spin 150 was a great event with had exercise bikes, rowing machines, skiing simulators and even a greenscreen for action shots. We broke a sweat to break cancer! After an amazing turnout, we managed to go 154km in total, with Agit topping our leaderboards in rowing and Peter doing the same in skiing. We raised a fantastic £395, which may increase to almost £800 with our workplace charity-matching scheme!
Our bake sales were a great success, both at our Norwich Office (Surrey Street) and our Maxim Office (just outside Glasgow). We raised an amazing total of £1,844, which may be almost £4,000 with our workplace charity matching scheme. Our Norwich event also allowed us to host our wonderful friends from Star Throwers with their creative crafts. Who’d have thought in the battle of cakes and crafts vs cancer, cakes and crafts would be doing so well? More to come soon!
We're raising money for Star Throwers, a cancer support charity based in Norfolk dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer, from diagnosis through to life after cancer. Around three quarters of the people supported by Star Throwers have a breast cancer diagnosis. Your donations will go towards providing nutritional support, cancer information, counselling, lymphoedema support and general running of this fantastic charity.
We have also raised money for Strathcarron Hospice, who provide specialist Hospice care and expert end of life care for the people of Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. They care for people with illnesses that cannot be cured including cancer, lung, heart or kidney failure and a range of non-malignant and neurological diseases. They are also actively involved in research and education in palliative care.
